IT Intern:
Chick-fil-A 2012 IT Summer Interns will be involved in a variety of technical projects, working alongside our full-time corporate IT staff. We typically host between 4-6 summer interns. In the past, intern projects provided experience in the following areas:
Java/Javascript, Oracle, HTML
Content Management
Software rollouts
PC Troubleshooting
And more...
Our internship program has evolved into a tremendous learning experience. Not only do our interns do real work, they also participate in a variety of activities that help build relationships and business knowledge. Last summer's interns had individual exposure to top executives of our company, including our CIO, CFO, Director of HR, and Dan Cathy (President and son of founder), and Truett Cathy (CEO and Founder). They attended the "Vision and Values Tour", discovering the history of Chick-fil-A. Interns were also included in team outings and social events. These are just a few of the activities that could await you.

Qualifications: 2012 IT Interns must have housing and transportation. We also require a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.3 major GPA in an IT-related field of study.
IT Associate:
The IT Associate begins their career as a member of the Software Development Lifecycle Team within the Information Technology Department. After 3-6 months, the IT Associate will have opportunities to pursue a career in a variety of IT Functions. IT careers can be functional or technical depending on the strengths and interest of the employee as well as current business needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field of study; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Good interpersonal skills: gets along well with others; Good written and oral communication skills; Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship; Attention to detail; Self-starter who completes tasks without excessive supervision
Company Description: Chick-fil-A is a privately held, Atlanta-based company that supports over 1530 quick-service restaurants in 38 states. Each store is operated by a franchisee (“Operator”) who is self-employed. The Operators make their own management decisions including hiring, training, inventory control, etc. The corporate office supports the stores by providing accounting services, marketing support, operational consulting, and information/network services.
