The USC/Columbia Technology Incubator has partnered for some time with Google for Entrepreneurs to bring Startup Grind to Columbia. Startup Grind events feature an entrepreneur who is interviewed about their accomplishments, then attendees are given time ask questions and network. We join more than 150 other cities across the globe to share entrepreneurs’ success stories through Startup Grind events. On August 25th from 5:30-8:30pm, we will be hosting Michael Branning in the Capstone Campus Room. Michael T. Branning is the president of Avtec, Inc., the leading provider of mission-critical console systems in North America. In this role, Branning sets the company's vision and directs the worldwide sales, operations, product development, and marketing strategy for the organization. We felt that this would be a great opportunity for students to hear from a local success story which has a global presence.
